2016 Beaurempart Grande Cuvee Rose Pays D'Oc
Beaurempart is crafted from a selection of two world renowned grape varieties: Black Grenache and Cinsault. Grown on dedicated plots the grapes benefit from South of France sunshine as well as the warm weather. It allows a very good maturation of the grapes, giving fresh and elegant rose wines.
50% Grenache Noir, 50% Cinsault
The grapes are harvested at night when the temperature is cool to prevent oxidation and preserve the subtle fruity aromas. After a gentle pressing the juice is sent to fermentation at low temperature enhancing the elegant aromatic profile. The wine stays on its fine lees for at least two months and is stirred periodically providing a smooth texture.
Salmon pink in color, this wine has and elegant and complex bouquet of blackcurrant and raspberry on the nose. We can also discern some hints of flowers. On the palate, Beaurempart is fresh and juicy with a lingering finish.
