Maison Leroy 1999 Bourgogne:
Producer note: The following wines are part of what Maison Leroy calls its Collection Series, most of which is being released on its 10th, 20th, 30th or 40th anniversary. All the wines have been stored in Leroy's cellars in Auxey-Duresses. Lalou Bize-Leroy
Tasting note: An expressive and nicely complex nose that is now beginning to turn to secondary with earth and subtle spice nuances that complement rich, round and sweet flavors that offer good punch and while this will be capable of additional aging, it is essentially ready now despite the still moderately firm finishing tannins.
